One of the uses of this knot is to attach your mainline to a Fixed spool reel,
Firstly pass the line around the spool and form a loop, then pass the free end of the line through the loop and over the line five times, keeping the coils neat and in line,
moisten the knot and tighten carefully by slowly pulling on the free end, making sure that the coils lie neatly alongside each other. once tied, it can be pulled tight, close to the spool. You should trim the free end about half an inch from the knot .
