The Pulley Rig is mainly used as a Big fish targeting rig, and as we know most of our big fish feed on medium to rough ground, We need a rig that will minimise tackle loss by lifting the lead upon the strike, this also gives us a direct line to the fish with a running lead system, Therfore a very good rig when you are after larger species, but are not quite sure of the state of the sea bed.
